Human Resources Test and Evaluation System (HRTES). Volume 2. Supplement

Abstract

The Human Resources Test and Evaluation System (HRTES) is a set of procedures designed to assist a test planner in evaluating the operator and maintainer performance in an operational test of an Army system. Specifically, HRTES provides guidance for (1) identifying the critical aspects of human performance to be included in the operational test, (2) evaluating the performance, and (1) analyzing the cause(s) of any inadequate human performance. Guidance is also provided for identifying the contributions of training, personnel selection, and human factors engineering to overall human performance. This volume includes detailed descriptions of a number of the test procedures and methods outlined in Volume 1 - Test Procedures. It also presents alternate methods for performing some of the steps. Keywords: Operational testing; and Training and evaluation.
