Solution of Poisson's Equation Using Method of Moments: Application to MOS Devices.

Abstract

An algorithm for the computation of solution to Poisson's equation in a two-dimensional domain is developed in terms of equivalent sources on the boundary. The region considered can be of arbitrary shape, and the boundary conditions can be Dirichlet, Neumann or mixed type. The solution is obtained by method of moments. Pulse expansion and point matching techniques are used. Computed results closely agree with the available data concerning MOS devices. (Author)
