EPIC-2 User Manual AFATL 1983 Version.

Abstract

This report documents the improved version of the EPIC-2 code. Specific improvements and/or additions concern the following: strength model, fracture model, material library, geometry generators, postprocessor, sliding surfaces, mass lumping and heat conduction. User instructions are provided for the code and a variety of sample computations are included to demonstrate its capabilities.
