Air Force Integrated Readiness Measurement System (AFIRMS). Management Plan. Annex B. Evolutionary Implementation Plan.

Abstract

The purpose of the AFIRMS EIP is to provide the necessary planning and scheduling information to life-cycle management personnel, functional users, and data processing personnel for developing and implementing AFIRMS worldwide. The design, development, installation, and operation of the AFIRMS system are evolutionary. They are accomplished in an incremental series of modular steps for HQ USAF, each Air Force major command (MAJCOM) headquarters, intermediate headquarters (where appropriate), and wing/base/squadron elements. The EIP provides a top-down frame of reference to shape the evolution and implementation of AFIRMS. This EIP document provides the highest level definition of the implementation plan. It provides the overall organization, top level schedules, and explanation of the work efforts required for AFIRMS implementation. Appendix A contains an overview of MAJCOM implementation schedules. The other EIP Appendices detail how the implementation will evolve within each MAJCOM.
