Study and Analysis of Heating Concepts for Military Ground Vehicles

Abstract

A 7-month study of state-of-the-art non-turbine heating concepts was conducted and completed by Global Thermoelectric Power System Ltd. of Bassano, Alberta, Canada. One preferred concept and one alternative were selected and examined. A multifueled heater system suitable for use in current and future military and commercial ground vehicles based on the preferred concept was designed and developed to Level 1 detail.
