Soldier's Guidebook to INGRES for Advanced Technology Unit Training and Management System (ATUTMS)

Abstract

This guidebook on INGRES, a relational database management system (DBMS), provides instruction on the main functions of the system, which involve creating a database and tables, designing forms for those tables, appending, updating, and retrieving data, and outputting data in the form of a report. The report guides users through the procedures required to create and manage an INGRES database. Guidebook is specifically tailored for low- to medium-level instruction for soldiers on the use of the Advanced Unit Training and Management System (ATUTMS).
