This contract supported work toward a monograph on semiconductor alloys. The chapters to be included are: Crystal structure and bonding, Alloy statistics and phase diagram, Electronic structure, Mechanical properties and lattice vibration, Defect states and structures, Alloy scattering effects, and Material engineering -- alloy and superlattice.
