Lower Colorado River Proposed General Permit Main Report and Final Environmental Impact Statement.

Abstract

The lower Colorado River and its borderlands are a multi-jurisdictional area which involved many agencies in its development. As a result residents and property owners are unsure of which agencies are involved in the development permitting process. To expedite issuing many permit applications, the Corps of Engineers proposes to issue a General Permit to allow certain types of construction along the river area. The data in this document provide the basis for the General Permit application for construction of projects in low environmental sensitivity area. (Author)
