Subject Categorization Guide for Defense Science and Technology

Abstract

This guide is an extensive revision of the COSATI Subject Category List (DoD Modified) AD 624000. It provides a basis for the subject grouping of scientific and technical reports used by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). It is used primarily as a standardized mechanism for defining areas of need-to-know in the distribution of information about DoD-supported technologies.
