The Calculation and Analysis of the Vertical Distribution of Turbulent Parameters in the Neutral PBL (Planetary Boundary Layer),

Abstract

By referencing the Lettan Method, the vertical distribution of turbulent parameters-momentum transfer coefficient k sub m, friction velocity u*, turbulent shear stress tau and mixing length 1, were calculated from the observed data of average wind profiles in the neutral planetary boundary layer. The results were compared with research results from abroad and they were basically in fair agreement. Some of the parameters should be modified.
