Measurements of 14-MeV Netron Propagation in an Air-Over-Ground Geometry.

Abstract

Measurements have been made of the propagation of neutrons from a 14-MeV source into a free-field air over ground geometry. Neutron, gamma ray, and total kerma have been measured at distances ranging from 100 to 800 meters from the source. Agreement with calculations is satisfactory.
