A Survey of Statistical Methods Appearing in the Current Russian Literature on Remote Sensing.

Abstract

This article reviews the major areas of remote sensing in the Soviet literature that use statistical methods to analyze observed data. For each of the areas, the author lists the problems that have been studied and briefly describes the statistical techniques that have been used.
