The Status of Anadromous Fishes of the Green/Duwamish River System.

Abstract

Present and historical status of anadromous fishes and their habitats in the drainage. The effects of Indian, sport and commercial fisheries management on the resource are discussed as well as the habitats and water quality that have been degraded by logging, agriculture, suburban and industrial development, dams, river diversion, dredging, flood control and pollution. Existing and planned enhancement/mitigation efforts are presented. An annotated bibliography is included. (Author)
