Abstract

VORTEX is an integrated document preparation system capable of producing high quality output. Precisely speaking, the major focuses of VORTEX are the following: Multiple Representations; Incremental Processing; User Interface; TEX Compatibility; and Composite Objects. This report describes the initial design of VORTEX.
