Report on the Archaeological Aerial Survey of Lake Ashtabula, North Dakota,

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present the results of an archaeological aerial survey conducted at Lake Ashtabula, North Dakota. One goal of this project is to provide the Army Corps of Engineers with data on the location of archaeological information which may be effected by on-going erosion. A second goal is to test and present the results of specific remote-sensing techniques as applied to site location and cultural resource management in the north central area of the United States.
