Design Concepts for Data Base Utilities.

Abstract

This report describes a network resident, data access utility. This utility, based on data dictionary technology, provids user tranparent access to data accessible via a network. The location, organization and structure of the data are immaterial to the user. Heterogenous data base systems in a long haul network constitute the evaluated environment. A support development facility for the network is also discussed. (Author)
