Modifications to Army Facilities Components System Drawings to Reflect Use of Metric-Sized Lumber.

Abstract

This report describes how the Army Facilities Components System (AFCS) drawings could be modified to use metric-sized lumber. All the drawings from AFCS-Designs (Technical Manual TM 5-302-1 to -5) were reviewed to identify possible problems. Several problems were identified and recommended construction notes were presented.
