Requisition Accounting and Processing System (RAPS) User's Reference Guide.

Abstract

The Navy's International Logistics Program(ILP) provides material support to foreign customers. These transactions involve Department of Defense agencies, foreign governments and private companies. One program under the ILP is Navy Foreign Military Sales(FMS). The FMS Office coordinates and tracks funding and expenditures for sales to foreign governments. This is a very complex program which generates large amounts of data. Information on all FMS transactions including pricing, funding, estimated and acutal shipping dates, and related data must be tracked and reported. The Requisition Accounting and Processing System(RAPS) automates the tracking, maintenance, and reporting of this data. The RAPS system software is written in Wang VS BASIC, and designed to run on a Wang VS100 computer. It can also be transferred to other computers in the Wang VS series. The purpose of this report is to present the capabilities of the Wang VS RAPS and to provide a reference guide to assist users in the operation of the system.
