Technical Review and Analysis of HARDware Versus MANpower Comparability Analysis Methodology (HARDMAN).

Abstract

The technical Review and Analysis (TRA) of the HARDMAN Comparability Analysis Methodology (HCM) was conducted to access the potential use of HCM in satisfying the Logistic Support Analysis tasks set forth in MIL-STD-1388-1A, and quantify the degree by which the methodology can satisfy these tasks. Topics discussed in this TRA include validity of calculations/equations, documentation, input requirements, output products, and strengths and limitations of the methodology. This report may serve as an executive summary to HCM for someone who is considering using the methodology and would like an overview to determine its potential use.
