Adaptive Assessment of Spatial Abilities.

Abstract

Items suggest that angular disparity can be used effectively to control the difficulty of true items but this was not the case for false items. That is, true and false items appear to measure different aspects of performance and as a result a multidimensional item response model may be necessary to fully account for performance on even fairly simple spatial items such as three-dimensional cubes.
