Annotated Bibliography of Vessel Simulation Studies Used in Channel Design.

Abstract

The information contained in this report was collected while writing IWR rept. no 86-R-2. That report was authorized to assess the shiphandling simulation capabilities of the U.S. Marine Administration, Army Corps of Engineers, and Coast Guard, as well as private facilities in the U.S. with respect to aiding the USACE in channel design and modification. In course of examining the vessel simulators, a brief annotated bibliography was compiled of each facility's channel design related reports. This bibliography provides citations and abstract to 74 reports on shiphandling simulation studies relating to channel design and/or modification.
