Physical, Chemical and Current Meter Data Eurydice Expedition, Leg X, 10 May-12 June 1975.

Abstract

The purpose of Leg X of Eurydice Expedition was to study the bottom water circulation associated with deep passages near Wake Island and the Marshall Seamounts. Nansen casts, in situ vertical profiles of salinity and temperature (STD lowerings) and free vehicle current meter drops were made from the Research Vessel Thomas Washington between 10 May and 12 June 1975. This data report includes the standard hydrographic observations (temperature, salinity, oxygen and nutrients) and a table of near bottomk current measurements. STD profiles were not processed. The hydrographic data are on file at the National Oceanographic Data Center as NODC cruise number 312058.
