Low Level White Lighting for Submarine Control Rooms

Abstract

Several lighting arrangements of low level white lighting (LLW) were evaluated by the watchstanders in a submarine control room at sea. Specifications for neutral filters to replace the current red filters were based on the arrangement judged to be most satisfactory.
