Product Assurance Program Requirements Manual for Naval Ocean Systems Center Projects.
Abstract
This document establishes product assurance program content requirements for Naval Ocean Systems Center projects as directed by NOSCINST 4855.1, 'NOSC Product Assurance Program. The provisions cover both the hardware and computer software aspects of program planning, implementation and management for projects of any type and in all phases of engineering development (i.e., conceptual, validation, full-scale), production and in-service operation. The product assurance program elements addressed include reliability, maintainability, system safety, human factors, quality assurance, configuration management and integrated logistic support.
