Generation of Phosphorous Ester, Phosphorus Amide, and Phosphine Derivatives of Low Coordination Number.

Abstract

Derivatives of the 5-phosphabicyclo2.2.2 octene-2 systems have been prepared as precursors on thermolysis of phosphalkenenes. Metaphosphate generators are also being prepared, especially with large bulky groups that might provide stabilization of the species.
