Continued Investigations of New Concepts for Improved Spectrochemical Analysis.

Abstract

During the course of this ongoing project, major advancements in numerous areas have contributed to an improved understanding of fundamental chemical process as well as toward improvements in chemical analysis and advanced instrumentation. A tremendous momentum has been established. Project areas discussed include: Array Detectors in Chemical Analysis; Multielement Linear Detectors for Analytical Spectroscopy; Time Resolved Spectroscopy using a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) in a Spectral Framing Mode; Atomic Emission Spectroscopy and Atomic Fluorescene Spectroscopy; Selective Photoionization for Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Complex Mixtures; Excitation Phenomena in Inductively Coupled Planas; Advanced Sample Introduction Techniques for Atomic Spectroscopy.
