An Interactive Microwave Mixer Analysis Program.

Abstract

This report describes a user-interactive computer program that calculates the conversion loss, noise temperature, port impedances, and two-tone intermodulation levels of a diode mixer. The program is written in Turbo Pascal 87 for use on the IBM PC, PC-XT, AT, or compatible computers. Unique features include stability warnings; graphics; and an ability to determine simultaneous conjugate-match impedances, conjugate-match conversion loss, and noise temperature. Instructions for use and examples are included. Those in need of detailed program description are invited to contact the author. Keywords include: Computer-aided design, Intermodulation, Low-noise receivers, Microwave mixers, Mixers, Modulators, Nonlinear circuits, Receivers, and Schottky-barrier diodes.
