The Characteristics of the Second-Order Target Model.

Abstract

Statistics of the trajectories generated by a second-order target model are presented, and using these statistics the distribution of the change in target heading over any time period is derived. This distribution is the basis of a new technique of choosing the model manoeuvre parameter which is suitable for a given class of targets. Design curves for this technique are supplied .
