Metal Fabricating Career Ladder AFSC 552X2 and Occupational Series 3703 and 3806.

Abstract

This is a report of an occupational of the Metal Fabricating career ladder (AFSCs 55232, 55252, and 55272) completed by the Occupational Analysis Division, USAF Occupational Measurement Center. The last occupational survey for this career ladder was published in September 1980. The present survey was one of several requested by the 3700 Technical Training Wing, Sheppard AFB TX, to measure the impact of reducing several of the civil engineering (CE) initial skill courses in both content and length. This report will highlight current task and equipment data for use in evaluating the current 552X2 training program. The survey includes both military and civilian members. The request to survey civilian personnel came from the Air Force Engineering and Services Center (AFESC), Tyndall AFB FL.
