Comments on Optical Transfer Function Techniques and SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) Imaging.

Abstract

Optical transfer function techniques are reviewed and applied to the problem of analyzing and specifying synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image quality. Integrated side lobe ratio is compared to similar optical measurements. The effect of pulse repetition frequency (PRF) on non-coherent transfer functions is discussed.
