Defense Acquisition Management Data System Code Translation Manual, Fiscal Year 1987.

Abstract

The first line of each entry identifies the contractor, the place of performance (city and state or country), the contractors unique identification number (DUNS code), and the codes (FIPS) for the place of performance. Data on each individual award to that contractor are then displayed on the following lines. This manual provides information on the meaning of the column headings which apply to those lines. This manual is intended to assist the user of these computer listings in understanding the range of data presented. While the meanings of many of the codes used in the listings are provided here, not all codes have been explained. Where applicable, references have been provided which identify other manuals and/or regulations that the reader may find useful. These publications include the DoD Procurement Coding Manual; Volumes I and III (DoD 4105.61M) and DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Supplement sections 4.671-5 and 4.7003-1 and DoD FAR Supplement Appendix N.
