Haptic Exploration in Humans and Machines: An Initial Overview.
Abstract
This technical report comprises two publications. The first provides an overview of our research program in haptic object processing. The second indicates in detail how the analysis of human exploratory procedures may be applied to the control of one- and two-fingered robot hands.
