Distortion-Invariant Pattern Recognition in Non-Random Noise. Volume 1.

Abstract

A position, scale, and rotation invariant pattern recognition algorithm which is robust in non random cluttered scenes is developed and analyzed. The algorithm's ability to address background noise problems found in target recognition work is examined. Simulation results using realistic aircraft scenes are also presented.
