NOHIMS (Naval Occupational Health Information Management System) Users' Guide: Introduction to COSTAR (Computer-Stored Ambulatory Record System).

Abstract

The Naval Occupational Health Information Management System (NOHIMS) is an integrated system for the implementing the Navy's occupational health program. The NOHIMS USERS' GUIDE: INTRODUCTION TO COSTAR is designed to provide the user with a basic understanding of the Medical Module of NOHIMS. The various options available, their uses, and conventions used in the system are described. The seven primary options include Registration, Enter Medical Data, Display Medical Data, Print Medical Data, COSTAR Report Generator, Mailbox, and System Maintenance. Sub-options within each of these primary options are also identified and described.
