Stator Conductor and Bore Seal Study for the Advanced High-Power Generator Program.

Abstract

This report describes the results of a preliminary study to simplify the 36-strand, liquid-cooled stator conductor for the advanced 5-Mw, high-power generator. A specially configured four-strand conductor significantly simplifies the fabrication process with very little loss in performance or specific power.
