Portable Diagnostic Radiometer. Supplement.

Abstract

This report presents the data that was measured clinically on one patient, and a detailed operating manual for the instrument. The prototype radiometetr was used to evaluate a patient with acute appendicitis. The skin temperature were normal and uniform in all four quadrants. The radiometric temperatures were elevated in the lower quadrants with the highest temperature being recorded in the lower right quadrant. A brust appendix was found at the time of surgery.
