Court Cases Relevant to Employment Decisions (1980 to 1983): Annotated Bibliography.
Abstract
In a 1980 technical report, the authors presented annotated bibliographic citations for major court cases decided at the Federal Appeals or Supreme Court level for the period 1971 to January 1980. The present technical paper represents major case annotations, from January 1980 to January 1984, which are related to personnel decisions. There has been a great increase in the amount of litigation in personnel decisions since the initial report was published. With this increase comes a commensurate increase in the need for personnel policy-makers to be throughly familiar with the dynamics of personnel case law. Reading actual court cases, however, would prove to a full-time job in and of itself. This compendium of cases should fulfill this need as concisely as possible.
