Abstract

This guide summarizes the roles and responsibilities of organizations in DoD and other Federal departments and agencies that participate in supporting these activities: providing forces to support and protect U.S. interests, and those of our friends and allies, around the world, sending military forces of varying sizes from the United States to overseas theaters, repatriation of civilian noncombatants and regulation of military patients, providing coordination and transportation support for the evacuation of civilian noncombatants and their associated repatriation in the United States.
