Coastal Consistency Determination and Preliminary Environmental Assessment for MILCON P100 (FY88) Search and Rescue Operations Facility.

Abstract

This document describes the Coastal Consistency Determination for MILCON P100, Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations Facility, located on Ballast Point. San Diego, CA to be administered by the SUBASE, San Deigo and Coast Guard, San Deigo, in compliance with Section 930.34 et seq of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Federal Consistency Regulations (15 FCR 930) and pursuant to the California Coastal Act of 1976 (as amended 1985). This Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) for MILCON P100, presented as the environmental documentation for the proposed action, is consistent, to the maximum extent possible, with the policies outlined by the California Coastal Act of 1976.
