Dynamic Robot Planning in HITAS (Hierarchical Intelligent Target Assessment System).

Abstract

Dynamic robot planning has become an important area of research in the artificial intelligence community. Such research also has many important military applications. Progress in this area offers many economic benefits such as direct application of resulting technologies to the automated factory of the future. HITAS (Hierarchical Intelligent Target Assessment System) investigates issues associated with the intelligent control of a robot with several types of sensor input. Keywords: Expert systems; Computer architecture.
