Spatial and Geometric Modeling and Reasoning.

Abstract

Spatial and geometric reasoning and modeling has become an important research area in the artificial intelligence community. Now that digital vision systems have become commercially available, decisions must be made as to the meaning of the output from these systems. To do this in a computer, a model of the observed scene must be constructed (geometric modeling), and inferences with respect to this (geometric reasoning) must be drawn. Keywords: Synchronization; Robotics; Coordination; Expert systems; HITAS(Hierarchical Intelligent Target Assessment System).
