A Study on Decreased Technical Reporting in the Department of Defense,

Abstract

There has been a significant reduction in the annual number of documents submitted to the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) over the past fifteen years. This paper is the cumulation and presentation of telephone discussions with DTIC contributors, detailing reasons for decreased input and alternative actions that may be pursued to deal with this problem.
