Inspection Plan Review, Stages I & II, Offshore Panama City, Florida. Phase A.
Abstract
This report defines the loading conditions under which the platforms were probably originally designed, utilizing analysis techniques used today to inspect the applicable stresses on the structures. These platform structural analyses demonstrate, inadequacies, which exceed the permissible limits of allowable stresses outlined in API RP 2A. Selected structural inadequacies, particularly evident in joints and members submerged under water, are focused for detailed underwater inspection to follow.
