Molecular Transmission Band Models for LOWTRAN

Abstract

This report discusses proposed molecular transmittance band models for the uniformly mixed gases dinitrogenoxide, methane, carbon monoxide, oxygen and carbondioxide, the trace gases Nitrausoxide, ammonia and sulfide water vapor, and ozone in the infrared. The models are specifically designed for direct incorporation into LOWTRAN 6 atmospheric transmission code. (keywords: Molecules; Absorption, Infrared; Bands; Models; Concentration; profiles; gases.
