Abstract

This work concerns the theory of electron transfer reactions in solution and at electrodes and of atom and proton transfer reactions. Specific developments included the treatment of the relation between electron and proton transfers, the formulation of a dynamical theory for treating H- and H+ transfers, orientation effects in electron transfer reactions in solution, relation between optical and thermal electron transfer, and electron transfer, and electron transfer in biological systems.
