Origins and Evolution of the Airlift Service Industrial Fund

Abstract

This project serves as a brief history of the origins and evolution of the Airlift Service Industrial Fund (ASIF). It examines the historical conditions which prompted the creation of the ASIF in 1958 and relates the advantages of industrial funding to those conditions. The study traces the ASIF's performance, problems, and evolutionary changes to present day; and, summarizes with a prospect for the future.
