Evaluation of Ada Environments. Chapter 5.

Abstract

The following two experiments target activities typically associated with programming in the small. (For these two experiments, the term programming will be used synonymously with programming in the small). Such activities are concentrated around the technical development phase of the software life cycle and include detailed design, code development and translation, unit testing and debugging. The first experiment focuses on the detailed design and code development and translation activities (DD) and is detailed in this chapter. The second experiment covers unit testing and debugging (TD) and is discussed in the following chapter.
