Integrated Information Support System (IISS). Volume 3. IISS Configuration Management. Part 1. Quality Assurance Plan.

Abstract

The Integrated Information Support System is a test computing environment used to investigate and demonstrate and test the concepts of Information Management and Information Integration in the Cobtexts of Aerospace Manufacturing. Specifically, IISS addresses the problems of Integration of Data Resident on heterogeneous databases supported by heterogeneous computers, interconnected via a local are a network. A common data model is maintained and provides the mechanism required to integrate the data. This document examines the major areas of concern that are part of any quality assurance plan. It refers to the specific documents that provide the guidelines and conventions that were developed for IISS during ICAM Project 6201.
