Low Altitude, High Speed Personnel Parachuting: Medical and Physiological Issues

Abstract

This report reviews the medical and physiological issues in high speed, low altitude parachuting. Accident and experimental data are reviewed. The dearth of experimental/operational data related to these issues is noted. Keywords: Military medicine; Acceleration tolerance.
