Integrated Information Support System (IISS). Volume 3. IISS Configuration Management. Part 4. Schedule Control Document.

Abstract

The Integrated Information Support System is a test environment used to investigate and demonstrate and test the concepts of information management and information integration in the contexts of Aerospace Manufacturing. Specifically, IISS addresses the problems of integration of data resident on heterogeneous databases supported by heterogeneous computers, interconnected via a Local Area Network. A common Data Model is maintained and provides the mechanism required to integrate the data. This manual, the Schedule Control Document, is a working document that was developed during the 6201 IISS project to schedule enhancements to the IISS system. This version of the document gives the final state of the information at the end of the project.
